                              RESOLUTION NO. 21460
                
                
                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
                 AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF TENNESSEE
                 DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES, RELATIVE TO THE
                 FAMILIES FIRST PROGRAM, FOR A CONTRACT AMOUNT
                 NOT TO EXCEED FIVE THOUSAND, TWO HUNDRED TWENTY
                 AND 29/10 DOLLARS ($5,220.29).
                
                
                                                    
                
                
       	    	 WHEREAS, the Chattanooga Area Urban League has requested
       that a portion of funds previously appropriated to them be used 
as
       matching funds for a State Department of Human Services Grant;
                                NOW, THEREFORE,
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Mayor be and is hereby 
authorized
       to execute an Agreement with the State of Tennessee, Department 
of
       Human Services, relative to the Families First Program, for a
       contract amount not to exceed $5,220.29.
